Community Programs

Once you enroll, Kroger will donate a percentage of your total grocery bill to our school every time you use your Kroger Plus Card – at NO cost to you!

Please take a few seconds to register here:

• If you already have an online Kroger account, sign in with your email address and password
• If you don’t yet have an online Kroger account, click “Create an account” to establish your account. (Hint – use your 10-digit phone number as your Alt ID)
• Once you’ve established or signed into your online Kroger account, search for Herron Classical Schools OR our Kroger organization number, MD414 in the “Find an Organization” window. Next, click the “Enroll” button under Indianapolis Classical Schools, and you’re enrolled!

Be sure to scan your Kroger Plus Card, or enter your Alt ID with every purchase!

Box Tops for Education will send $.10 to Herron Preparatory Academy for every qualifying purchase you make! Qualifying products range from Chex Mix to Lara Bars to Paper Mate school/office supplies, cereals and Lysol products and beyond!

Because BTFE is moving toward a digital program, you no longer need to rip off the tops of your cereal boxes and send them to school! Just download the app on your phone and scan your grocery receipts directly into the app!

Make sure to add Herron Preparatory Academy as your recipient school when you register!

Walmart's Spark Good Round Up program allows customers to round up their purchase total and donate their change at checkout on Walmart.com and in the Walmart app to a charity of their choice. To sign up, simply go to Walmart's Spark Good page and register your account

• Once you've signed in or registered, search for "Herron High School Inc" in the search bar and add your zip code (or ours, 46202).

• When our school Network is located, click on the "Enrolled button" to view information in the side bar about our schools.

• Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and click the "Select this charity" button.

• Once you've selected Herron High School Inc., you'll see a confirmation block:

• You've now selected our schools to receive your Round Up donations. Start shopping!

Matching Gifts are an easy way to double or even triple your personal giving. Companies offering these programs will match gifts from current and retired employees at no extra cost to you. Simply completing a short form or submitting an online confirmation could result in your gift to HCS making an even greater impact. Check with your company’s Human Resources office to see if they offer this program, or run a search on our Matching Gifts page.

Volunteer Grants are offered to nonprofits where a company’s employees volunteer. Companies offering volunteer grant programs will make gifts to HCS based on your volunteer hours. Did you work on the Soiree committee, help decorate for prom, coach a team or help build sets for the spring musical? That time spent helping out at your scholar’s school can often be converted to dollars from many employers. Check with your company’s Human Resources office to see if they offer this program, or run a search on our Matching Gifts page.

Employee Directed Giving is often managed through a yearly United Way campaign. As part of this campaign, you can often choose the nonprofit organization to receive the funds gifted through this charitable giving program. While Herron Classical Schools may not be listed as one of your company’s donation options, it may be possible to request HCS as a recipient. Discuss this option with your company’s Human Resources office.
